Students are not permitted to be excused from school to go see someone to help them. This is so interesting that they are not trying to create the best situation for the kids. They are making harder for them. Personal Connection: People often assume things about people with disabilities that aren't true. They may think them to be dumb and not capable of certain things. Katya gets this sometimes. She is actually very intelligent and more "normal" than people think. She loves lots of things we all love. She for sure loves boys. Questions for the conversation with Dad: How has having a daughter with a disability changed you? What it is like having a daughter with a disability? How has your view of education system changed?
