Today was a loooong day. I woke at 4 am to head to Prague. 🫩 We pretty much walked around all day going into stores and checking out things like the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock, and the Museum of Communism. We walked about 10 miles today. 🤷‍♀️ Something that really stuck out to me was the beauty of the construction. The cobblestone roads are absolutely abundant here. It’s remarkable that people cut and carved down millions of rocks just to make a place for people to walk on. People cared enough to build these roads. And the fact that it’s still here? It’s beautiful. I feel the same sense of wonder when I look at the buildings. It took so much time to carve these people and symbols into the buildings. It just adds to the magnificence of this beautiful old city. This same drive to create things that last forever isn’t there. At least physically. With social media, things get shared and posted never really disappear. Just like laborers hundreds of years ago didn’t know how long their work would last, I don’t think many young people quite understand how long their actions can ripple. I think what’s important is just to create things that are beautiful and can bring wonder and peace to those in the future. More Prague tomorrow. ![[Pasted image 20250709224356.jpg]] ![[Pasted image 20250709224417.jpg]]
